Two Police officers arrested after they were found slaughtering a missing cow

In a dramatic scene, Two police officers from Keiyo South,Marakwet County, Kenya have been detained after they were found slaughtering a cow which had been reported missing at Kaptagat police station.

The two police officers identified as Chrispus Butali, and Samuel Mbugua Njuguna were detained after being found at the scene where the cow was slaughtered, according to Kenya police.

According to the police, a woman identified as Josphine Kandie, had reported her cows missing, however she got information later that a cow had been found slaughtered at Kaptagat police station.

angered with the situation, Irked members of the public stormed the station, demanding the transfer of the officers, including the OCS.

Rowdy residents decided to barricade Eldama Ravine -Eldoret road. Efforts by the police to calm them down went in vain.

By by press time, It’s reported that the officers were still engaging locals in running battles.
