Several people have been feared dead following a fuel Tanker explosion.
The incident happened on Tuesday at around 3:00pm in Kigogwa Town along the Kampala-Bombo road in Kasangati, Wakiso District.
According to the police Spokesperson Kampala metropolitan, Patrick Onyango, the fuel tanker overturned and caught fire
“Reports indicate several people may have lost their lives, while others have been injured” he said
He noted that emergency rescue efforts are currently underway.
“Updates will be provided as more information becomes available Our thoughts are with the affected families and communities”, he added.
