Four Ugandans among 15 killed in a bus ambush in South Sudan

At least 15 people have been reported dead following an attack on a bus plying to kampala operated by Babeto Coach Services. among the 15 people killed, 4 were Ugandan.

The attack happened on Tuesday morning while the bus with reg SSD 089Z, was heading to kampala.

The incident happened at Lakarakak, between Nyerjebe and Kubi, according to sources.

The bus was ambushed and set ablaze by unknown individuals.

According to Patrick Loius Lamot, the port health focal point person at the Elegu border, said in an interview that five individuals who sustained injuries were evacuated by Ugandan health personnel from Malakia to Amuru District for treatment.

Among the people killed were also soldiers.
According to South Sudan radio station, Gen. Lul Ruai Koang, noted that when they got the information, they were able to send a security team who managed to disburse the gun men but several people were killed and injured.
