Yapyeko Beatrice, a resident of Natema village in Kimawa parish, is living in distress after a neighbor allegedly poured salt on her rooftop, an act that has worsened her already dire living conditions.
According to a close neighbor who spoke to the Sebei today reporter, Beatrice, a widow and peasant, relies on small handouts for survival. The malicious act has left her fearful and desperate for assistance.
Fortunately, Mr. Chemowo Musa Mashood, an aspiring Member of Parliament for Tingey County and a fellow resident, has stepped in to support her. Sources confirm that Mr. Chemowo has already provided 10 iron sheets and 10 timber frames, with additional materials expected soon. Construction of a new house is set to begin next month, offering Beatrice much-needed relief.
This act of kindness has been widely praised in the community, with many urging other well-wishers to come forward and support the elderly woman in overcoming her hardship.
For those willing to contribute, community leaders encourage reaching out to Beatrice or local authorities in Kawowo Subcounty to provide further assistance.
