Buikwe Residents Burn Down “666 Church” Following Deaths of Eight Children

Kiwale Village, Buikwe District — Chaos erupted in Buikwe as angry residents set ablaze a church associated with the controversial “666 Faith” after the mysterious deaths of eight children over a span of 12 days.

The deceased children reportedly came from families practicing the faith, which has raised suspicions and sparked widespread anger in the community. The residents accuse the group of neglecting basic health practices, including immunization, medical care, and formal education for their children.

“We’ve lost eight children in just 12 days, all from families associated with this faith. These people don’t immunize their children, don’t seek medical help, and don’t send their children to school. This is unacceptable,” said a distressed resident.

Authorities have taken samples from the deceased for further investigation in Kampala. The district health office is collaborating with the Ministry of Health to determine the cause of death.

“We urge the Minister of Health to address the situation urgently. The community is living in fear as more deaths are reported. We need answers and interventions to stop this crisis,” added another resident.

As the investigation continues, tension remains high in Kiwale Village, with many questioning the safety and legitimacy of the faith group’s practices. Local authorities have vowed to restore order and ensure a thorough investigation into the allegations.
