Alaska Panos aka Kalyongwet, real name Chemonges Saul Ugandan Veterinary Scientist from Kapchorwa district based in Australia has pledged to sponsor 100 children for the Elgon Radio end of year Elgon Explosion concert.
In a message he posted on Elgon Radio kapchorwa WhatsApp group, he aurged Barashaki Roger aka Biig Roger Elgon, the station manager Elgon radio kapchorwa to make a selection of 100 children which 50 of them will be girls and 50 boys who are supposed to be accompanied by their parents who will pay their own entry fee.
“Ok, let’s say 100 children (50 of the female gender and 50 of the male gender) to attend the event with my sponsorship with the condition that their parents are present and pay for their own tickets. Roger, you are good at this, please put the lineup together via your show,” Alaska noted.
According to him, this move is to support sebei musicians. He further went on to mention his favorite artist.
According to him, the musicians whose songs have stolen his heart are, Tamex da Lion, Big Rush and Shabo rhymes among others.
Alaska Panos has been passionate about the Sebei music industry and has been supporting them financially.
Elgon Radio end of year explosion concert is slated for January 1st 2025.
